The Margate Community Farmers Market is located in the parking lot of the fabulous Steve and Cookies by the Bay (9400 Amherst Ave.)  Local farms and vendors offer fresh vegetables,seafood, herbs, and lots more.

That fresh doctor of mine told me it's time to "grow the hell up and get off the Red Hot Dollars and Mike and Ikes. Needless to say, I've been spending my Thursday mornings with Sweetie at the Margate Community Farmers Market.  We've left with every dang vegetable known to God and that trouble maker, "the Juice Man" on the Junk Channel.  

My wife and kids are forever whining, "If you would only get around to hauling something green and organically nutritious out of the fridge, you might get out of the Husky line."  

Those fresh kids of mine fail  to acknowlege the hassle and pressure on me to coordinate and prepare the daily meal -- and they wouldn't have a clue if radish, parsley or turnip goes best with the frozen pizza and Yoohoo we got stuck with after Junior's marching band fundraiser.

Those "in-the-know": your direction would be somewhat appreciated.
