Margate "Adopt a Beach" Program

Residents of Margate are invited to help keep Margate's beaches clean for everyone to enjoy. Become famous fast! For a bi-annual donation, a plaque that indicates who has adopted the beach will be placed on the bulkhead. The program is open to everyone. For more information contact Franz Adler at 822-5038.
Fishing The Longport Bridge

You can now fish off of the Kennedy (Longport) Bridge from October 1 to April 1 from 6pm - 6am daily! The more avid fishermen make it an "all-nighter" as they focus their sights on striper, porgy and cool water fish. The current running under the bridge makes for really great fishing, too.
